Preston Lawson is an artist here at the Chico Ceramics Center, as well as the studio technician and one of our ceramics teachers.  He enjoys nearly all things ceramics, including throwing, slab building, pinch and coil, glazing and glaze chemistry, raku and highfire firings, and experimenting with new techniques.  He also loves teaching all these things to his students both in private lessons and with Angie in her class Getting Dirty with Angie.

He has been doing ceramics since 2011 and intends to continue his art for many years to come.
