The Studio

The Chico Ceramics Center features a full-service pottery studio, geared toward artists of all skill levels.

Here, you will find all the tools necessary to create your next masterpiece.

We feature:

11 Brent, Shimpo and Bailey Wheels, including wheels that reverse for left-handed throwers!
Ample workspace for large projects, and a variety of work surfaces
2 wall-mounted extruders
2 slab rollers
Shelf space for works in progress
Glazing room
Kiln yard

If you have no prior experience we require that you start off with a class. View our classes page for more details.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays
Noon to 5pm
Closed all other days

Interested in becoming a Chico Ceramics Center Member?

Drop by the office in Suite 6 to pick up an application and get a tour of the studio.

Members may use the studio 24/7 via coded entry, get a large shelf for clay, tools and materials, and may rent a locker for anyone in need of extra space.
